Mike took us on a Saturday night date to DC's Chinatown. We took the Metro from the Pentagon to Chinatown. The exit of the Metro is decorated with an Asian fan design- cool!
We ate at Wok and Roll. Cheesy name, but great food. Their gyoza reminded us of Japan! History wise, this restaurant is housed in a building where Lincoln's assassination was planned.
On the Metro, we were surrounded by hockey fans. Our date night coincided with the first home game of the Washington Capitals. The Verizon center is located in the Chinatown area so we got to see lots of fans and lots of excitement in the area.
On our way out of Chinatown to a different Metro stop, we passed a building that housed Clara Barton's office during/after the Civil War. We also passed a great cupcake place called Red Velvet. We snacked on our sweet treats the rest of the way home!
Love,
