We went to the land rush memorial in August. There are supposed to be 100 more monuments strung out along the downtown area right below 1-40.

This is an old grain elevator that some business man turned into an inside rock climbing wall.

This is Rick the water taxi driver. He was extremely funny and well worth the ride on the Bricktown canal. I learned that Oklahoma round steak is Bologna and you can buy camouflaged toilet paper for your fiance at the Bass Pro shop.

He also said if you donate $10K to the OU Art department that you too could have your face on one of the statues but then he went on to tell a joke about a Texas guy who donated and the artist made him look like the rear end of the horse below...

Grace got some hand me downs from our good friend Kristen Mikkelsen. She immediately put on the bikini and said "oops I"m not supposed to wear this bra".

She loved showing off the skirts and put every outfit togather on her own.

School Bridge rained out

Grace thinks there is no school tomorrow because the bridge is overflowing from the rain last night.

Daisy enjoyed exploring in the water and looking for beavers. There were all sorts of new sights and smells.

Big Rain

We had some rain from the tropical gulf storm and it dropped about 5" and now it is gushing thru the drainage ditches on base.
We went out exploring with the dog and kids.
