2007 Mustang GT

Mike's Mustang on its first day. The color is Windveil blue and it is fun to drive but not on base becuase at max 24 MPH limit it is hard to get out of third gear.

Tired farm dog

Daisy was tuckered out from farm life. She played with the other farm dogs and chased all the kittens from under the porch. When Grace was petting one Daisy came up and pretty much put one in her mouth. She ended up treeing a cat in one of the trees, too.

Mullet Rocker

Cousin Magggie not pictured bought mullet wigs for her brother Michael. Grace and Katie try them on and pose at crazy rockers.
Ms G perfected her hand signs.

Tractor Boy

Uncle Danny Harris let Brock drive his tractor on the farm in Kansas. We went up for Chrissy's baby shower and the men had Man time so Danny scored by letting Brock learn on the clutch. Mike just hopes B does not want to try out the Mustang.
Danny has a trick where he gets people to sit on the basket and holds them hostage until they agree to be his farm worker for several hours.

New Leather furniture

We ordered some leather furniture from Macy's. It is pretty comfy. We are still getting settled in.
Ms G declares it a successful buy.

Merry go Girl

This was one of Gs favorite rides. They had a pig and ostrich but Grace liked the cat with the fish in his mouth.
Grace rode the tiger outside the Wildcatter roller coaster.

Frontier City

We went to Frontier City for one Sat afternoon. Its like 1/3 the size of six flags over TX. The good thing was there was not too long of a walk and the lines were relatively short. Brock is on the Mind Bender all by himself. This ride spins around so he is upside down and rotates pretty fast. Some people walking by heard him yelling and either kept on going or decided to get on the next ride. Mike thought he was going to get sick but he kept his breakfast.
Grace did not want to ride on the big rides and was skeptical of the German swings. She declared that the Farris wheel was the enemy and would not go on it. Mike tricked her to go on the log ride by telling her it was like the antique cars but she soon figured out it was a fast and watery ride. She pleaded and cried not to go but then in the end loved it and wanted to go again.

Brock was ready to catch a foul ball.

1st Lawn Mow

Mr B wanted to help mow the lawn one evening so MB taught him the basics. He did pretty good for the first time without too many patches.
He was very excited in the end and wanted to start his own lawn mowing business for 5 dollars a yard.

Rowdy

Biscuit and Gravey put their differnces aside for one inning and groove to Niel Diamond music.
Rowdy the Redhawk runs like the typical crazy mascot. The kids enjoyed his antics and tried to get his autograph.

Happy Kids

Grace was in a cotton candy stooper from sugar overload.
Brock enjoyed the third base seats and one of the players tossed us a foul ball.

Neil Diamond Night at the Brick

We could not pass up Neil Diamond night at the Bricktown Ballpark in downtown OKC. One would have thought that there would have been folks dressed up like Mr D or maybe they would have trivia questions and lots of songs but they only played a few. Most of the night was guns and roses or Metallica. Supposedly in the fourth inning Mr D had sent 500 red roses to the ladies in the park and they handed them out.

Henchman #1

Mr B was in the play Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs put on by the Mizoola play company. They go all around the world and put on the plays with about two dozen kids in a week. Brock wanted to be an evil or goofy henchman with another 12 year old.
After the play Brock declared he was a man due to his mustache and goatee. He also enjoyed being able to push his henchman cohort very hard several times on stage.

Daisy May Vaughn

We got a new dog today! Her name is Daisy May. She is a Bluetick Coonhound and is about 18 months old and already housebroken. Likes kids and critters and is very sweet. She is about 40 pounds and is very skinny with unique markings of black with white splotches and some brown. Mike found her on the Internet by searching on a local humane society web site. The people who found her as a stray took her in for 3 months and fixed her up and took care of her. We sort of went thru an informal "screening" and passed based on liking the kids allot and us saying that we would keep her inside. We will have to be carefull that she does not catch a scent of our local animals as coonhounds like to take off after critters and tree them.
