Our tour of the Masonic Memorial progressed from the George Washington areas to floors higher up in the Memorial that are used for the Masons. Each of these rooms has a specific purpose and a group that uses it as meeting space. Our guide was very knowlegable, but still- for the uninitiated to the Mason organization, they seemed a bit curious....

Thefirst room we visited was oriented around the building of Solomon's temple. The next room was more of a dark cave type room. The top room had knights in armor and beautiful stained glass.
As you ascend the floors of the memorial, the building narrows. So each floor we visited was smaller and smaller. I have not done justice to the various rooms with my pictures- they were all very interesting!
