Dan and Alma were here for a visit between Christmas and New Year's. We had a great visit and toured some unusual places with them.
One of these stops was the George Washington Masonic Memorial in Alexandria. The Memorial is an interesting building and we enjoyed the tour. The first two floors we visited were all about George Washington. They have items belonging to him and his family and the Mount Vernon estate. Our favorites included a desk, a family bible and a lock of George Washington's hair!
