Happy New Year!

Happy New Year all! We were lazy all day and stayed in our jammies for movie and parade watching. Did you have your black eyed peas? Make sure you eat one for every year you are born. Even Daisy had her 3. We took the tic and terrier out for an evening stroll so we can say that we started off the new year with our healthy PT program.

Where's the Tramp?

We came home after being gone for a week and could not find our trampoline.

A giant gust of wind must have blown it over onto the gas meter and air conditioning unit. It took us about an hour to loosen the safety net poles and turn it right side up. Then we discovered that there was a small gas leak so we called maintenance to ensure we would not blow our house up.

The Family Cube

Grace made a "Family Cube" with a box about 2 months ago. Each family member has their face on a side and the sixth side says "the Vaughn family Die...How shall it be?"

Here is how it works according to Grace: If there is something that we all don't want to do like let the dog in then she rolls the die and if your face shows up then you have to do the chore. I'm not exactly sure what happens if say nobody wants to make dinner and it ends up on Daisy. Thankfully Mary Beth has veto rights on the family chance cube outcomes. Also, Mike has not kept any statistics on this but most of the time the chance cube "usually" ends up with Brock as the lucky winner.
